The Stryker 250‑070‑451 probe is a 20‑inch laparoscopic instrument with a 4 mm spatula‑shaped tip. It is part of Stryker’s StrykeProbe™ line of reposable monopolar electrosurgical probes, engineered for precise dissection, coagulation, and tissue manipulation during minimally invasive procedures. The spatula tip design allows smooth sliding and effective energy delivery for cauterizing, dissecting, or controlling bleeding. It connects to standard monopolar electrosurgical generators via a compliant insulated handle, making it compatible with a broad range of OR setups.
Constructed of stainless steel with insulation on the shaft, this probe is designed for multiple reuse cycles—typically up to 20 autoclave sterilizations—before needing replacement. Its slim 4 mm shaft and extended 20″ (≈50 cm) length accommodate deeper laparoscopic access in abdominal or pelvic cavities, allowing surgeons excellent reach and tactile feel while minimizing clutter at the incision site.
